Takshyashila has shortly opened up a SCHOOL entitled –
Admissions are entertained 1&1/2 Year Of age onwards for both boys and girls. The school is proposed to stretch upto Secondary Level very soon.
El Dorado - Our School As We Perceive
School is a very much auspicious place to a child. It is its next home. School is such a place, that on one hand sometimes indulges its pranks and pampers, while on the other hand, it radiates all good in it, nurturing it into well-grown human being.
We firmly believe, in each and every child there lies a colossal source of pure energy. School should enact in channelising this energy along the most proper track. As says the holy Upanishads-
অণোরণীয়ান্মহতো মহীয়ানাত্মাস্য জন্তার্নিহিতো গুহায়াম্ |
Molecular than molecule, pious than a pious, this sprit is conceived deep into every animate’s psyche. (Kathoponishad) (Page 208).
And once this is done, the outcome is mindblowing. The child reserves independent power of thought, self-esteem, moral-courage and all such qualities that are immensely positive, that distinguishes him/her as someone special, not likely, Tom Dick or Harry. Let’s see how the holy Upanishads define such a state, when one attains it-
আত্মানং রখিনং বিদ্ধি শরীরং রথমেব তু ।
বৃদ্ধিন্ত সারথিং বিদ্ধি মনঃ প্রগ্রহমেব চ ||
Let you know then, your sprit (Atma) is the rider, your physique is the chariot, let you know that your intelligence is the chariot rider, while your mind is the girth. (Kathoponishad) (Page 283)

So the school is not a place to scare, rather it should be the most favourite place to a child. Mostly it is noticed that the guardians / parents are neglected by a school. Their stipulated positions remain just outside the boundary-wall. Meeting a teacher or a the class-teacher seems a matter of prolong prayer and obligations as such. We never believe in such notions. What we feel is the TRIO – the teachers, parents/guardians and the child, whose inter-bonding is extremely essential for a child’s rearing up.
The school is there to guide a child, the esteemed parents/guardians should be ready to morally co operate the process as the child keeps blooming into a rich flowering tree.

Background Behind The Name - El Dorado
El Dorado is applied to a mythical country in which gold and precious stones were found in fabulous abundance. The concept of El Dorado suffered several transformations, and eventually accounts of the previous myth were also combined with those of the legendary city. The resulting El Dorado enticed European explorers for two centuries, never found, always seeming to be just beyond the limits of prior exploration.
The most famous search for El Dorado was by Francisco de Orellana and Gonzalo Pizarro (1541), who passed down the Rio Napo to the valley of the Amazon all the way to its delta.

El Dorado is als6 sometimes used as a metaphor to represent an ultimate prize or “Holy Grail” that one might spend one’s life seeking. It could represent true love, heaven, happiness or success.
